Sun, 28 October 2007 Blue Jersey Radio: Seema Singh editionby: noweemanFri Oct 26, 2007 at 01:45:41 AM EDT Every
Saturday morning at 10:30, Blue Jersey Radio streams LIVE with
Trenton's latest buzz, interviews with newsmakers, and your stimulating
calls. This week: In addition to debuting our swanky new BJ Radio Logo, we were joined by 14th District Senate Candidate Seema Singh, as she heads into the campaign home stretch. Jay adds: She really is a razor sharp candidate and her passion was obvious. While you're listening, make sure to check out Seema's website which highlights just how un-moderate Bill Baroni can be. (Note to Baroni: there is a lot more to being moderate than not hating on gays, IMHO.) Could that be why he didn't accept our challenge?
Now, if you're scratching your head about that last question, you must not have listened to last week's show. But, good news - there's still time. And when you're finished, you can surf through ALL our shows on our BlogTalkRadio page. Or download them all here: (But, more importantly, does this logo make me look fat?) Comments[2]
Wed, 24 October 2007 BlueJersey's Jay Lassiter had the chance to sit down yesterday with Governor Jon Corzine for a candid chat about stem cells (and keeping NJ cutting edge); the NJ National Guard in Iraq (and what it meant for us stateside); and kids healthcare (S-CHIP, charity care). Corzine's most intriguing replies came to questions about gay marriage equality and his near-fatal crash last summer. Props to Blue Jersey regular 'Firstamend07' whose thoughtful question about the corrections budget was too good to leave out of the script! For the video - go to BlueJersey.com! Comments[2]

Tue, 9 January 2007 With the changing of the guard in Washington, there is hope that human rights issues will become more of a priority. Former Irish President and UN Human Rights Commissioner Mary Robinson says that if Congressman Donald Payne takes the chairmanship of the House Human Rights committee that things should get better in Darfur, for example. Mon, 3 April 2006 It isn't hard today to find Democrats who think the Party needs to stampede left. The reason we are losing, they claim, is that we have followed the Republicans as they ran to the right. As a consequence, a whole bevy of disenfranchised, unrepresented lefties stays home on election day after election day. This has led many to conclude that anyone who calls themself a "moderate" must automatically be a DINO. New Jersey's Ninth District Congressman Steve Rothman proves this is simply not true. In this exclusive Blue Jersey podcast, Congressman Rothman dispels the notion that a moderate cannot stand strong on principles and fight hard for his constituents. Comments[6]

If you've already subscribed to our feed through iTunes, it should download for you next time you start the program. For this month's podcast, we sat down with Congressman Rush Holt to hear his thoughts on the upcoming State of the Union, political blogging, NSA domestic spying, rising energy costs, the President's upbringing (hint: it involved immersion in oil) and more. On Medicare Part D: "I'm not going to accuse them of designing it to fail - although that thought has crossed my mind." Holt answers the question: "Where are the Democrats?" and shares his thoughts on how to regain a Congressional majority.
